Centenary Book Centenary Book Reviewed

As part of its centenary celebrations in 2009/2010 the Club commissioned a book to track its growth from a small mutual club insuring the last of the coastal sailing ships to today’s position as a global insurer. The book, researched and written by Dr Helen Doe of the Centre for Maritime Historical Studies at the University of Exeter, was published last year. It has recently been reviewed by Robert G. Greenhill in the International Journal of Maritime History.
