Cargo Claims

The Club Rules provide cover for claims against the member for breaches of his obligations as a carrier of the cargo, including claims for loss, damage, shortage and misdelivery. There are a number of exceptions and provisos to the cover and it is important to familiarise oneself with the scope of the cover. The Club Rules are subject to amendment each year and are published annually on this website.  The salient rules applicable to cargo claims are:-
