New Club Chairman Appointed

At their recent Board meeting the Club elected Mr. Heinrich Schoeller as Chairman to succeed Mr. Otto Fritzner who had served in that position for nine years, the longest serving Chairman of the Board.
 
Mr. Fritzner thanked the Board for their support during his tenure.  He said “I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to be Chairman of the Club and to have been supported by a committed and talented Board.  We have resolved many challenging issues together and seen the Club strengthen its position in the market.  I wish Mr. Schoeller my very best wishes and hope that he enjoys his time in the Chair as much as I have.”
 
Mr. Schoeller said “I am honoured to be elected as Chairman of Steamship Mutual.  On behalf of my fellow Directors I would like to thank Otto Fritzner for his great service to the Club.  During his Chairmanship the Club has grown financially stronger and I take over with the Club in an excellent position.  I look forward to playing my part in helping the Club progress further over the coming years.”
 
Mr. Schoeller is Chairman of Columbia Shipmanagement Limited and Chairman of Schoeller Holdings Limited.
